CEBU.

Now, I’ve been to Cebu a lot of times over the past few years. But I’ve never really seen it like the way I was able to when I went there just a week ago with my friends—Kara, Nic, and Beam.

I never really realized how such an amazing place it is :)

So we were there for five days and we just swam and ate and slept and just chilled and spent time together. Cebu really does have a lot to offer and it’s a great place to spend summer vacation.

We went swimming with whale sharks, had a 3-hour road trip, went trekking to see the waterfalls, snorkelling, swimming in the pool, and a lot of other stuff :))

Personally, I like it here since there’s not a lot of people here unlike Boracay. Don’t get me wrong though, Boracay will always be Boracay. It’s still a great summer vacation. But I like the peace and serenity that Cebu offered.

Boracay may be the place to be seen but Cebu is the place to chill and relax…and eat. Which I love to do.

I really can’t thank God enough for giving me this experience. Actually, during the trip, not only did I get to spend time with my friends and meet Nic’s super awesome family (haha!) but I actually got to know God a little bit more. Just when you think that you have God all figured out, He reveals himself to you in ways you cannot fathom. It was time well spent with God too.

I think I want to make it a point to document every special moment of my life here on Tumblr. I’m so glad that I got a new DSLR with Video recording because as much as I try to deny it—and there’s really no point in denying—I really do love making videos. I see the world differently when I’m trying to make videos. I don’t know why. I don’t know if that makes sense to you though but I just see things differently when it comes to that.

Anyway, I will blog about the Cebu experience soon. But the highlight of our trip is pretty much in this video right here. So enjoy! :)

Somewhere Over The Rainbow is a song that’s very dear to me because it was played during my late Uncle Wilfred’s funeral a few years back. It was a song that their family had a connection to and I felt their love for each other through that song. Someday, this will also be the song that my own family will love :)

My Healer, Savior and Lover ♥

It never crossed my mind, nor did I ever hope that I would be standing in front of a camera, sharing my testimony to many people. Last December, I experienced my deepest heartbreak. I had so many questions that left me furious, hopeless… desolated. Never did I think that would be an ending chapter of a dark’s past and a beginning of new pages inked and written by God Himself. 

Here I am, a year after, writing these very words and testifying in His overflowing, amazing, majestic and MARVELOUS grace and love! No word can EVER be enough to describe what He has done in my life! 

Lastly, I want to thank God and the Cluster for giving me this opportunity to share what He has done in my life. This video is not about me but about MY GOD, MY HEALER, MY SAVIOR, MY LOVER. He, who didn’t only heal my heart but gave me a new heart, a new life!

Our God is never changing. He, who was able to do that in my life IS THE SAME GOD WHO CAN AND WILL HEAL YOUR HEART AND GIVE YOU A NEW LIFE AS WELL! He loves you so much, more than you’ll ever know.

I love love love this video we made for our GENDERS class. Low budget shooting though. We only had a DSLR, a digicam and a tripod when we shot this. And we shot it all in one day. From 11AM til 6PM just in school. A lot of the things we shot were not really planned as well. Just spur of the moment ideas but it turned out really great.

We got a good score for this and it helped me get a really good final grade I think. I never get tired of watching it and I’m so proud of it :)
